Muitos falantes de inglês como segunda língua têm dificuldade em entender crianças falando em inglês por causa do timbre de voz das crianças e da maneira como elas pronunciam palavras. E já que phrasal verbs e expressões idiomáticas fazem parte do inglês cotidiano, obviamente crianças anglofônicas os usam constantemente também. Meu aluno, que já é fluente em inglês, me mostrou o seguinte vídeo e pediu para eu ajudá-lo a entender tudo o que este menininho disse.   • it was great = foi ótimo
