A minha esposa e a minha filha foram passar uma semana com os meus sogros, e eu e meus dois filhos tivemos que nos virar sozinhos. Comemos muitas batatas Ruffles, McDonald's e marmitex! Mas é uma ótima oportunidade para lhe ensinar mais uma forma comum de se dizer 'se virar' em inglês.

It was a terrible and funny trip … I knocked the wrong house in the sunrise, and for my surprise, the house was empty, and suddenly appear a neighbor and helped me find the correct house…after one month everything finished well

I have to fend for myself when my mother travel and then  I need to cook for survive.

It’s hard without our mom! 🙂

Gostaria de tirar uma dúvida: nesse caso” take care for yourself” ou”You take care” têm o mesmo significado do que to fend for yourself?

Logo, se estou me despedindo de alguém eu poderia dizer ao invés de “you take care” “You fend for yourself”?

Não exatamente, Vanessa. “Take care” é só uma forma de se dizer “tchau”. É equivalente a se dizer “Se cuida!”
